What is a Thread Lift?

A thread lift is a semi-surgical procedure carried out by a doctor. Thread lifts involve the use of biostimulating threads that are placed in the subcutaneous fat layer of the face and gently pulled and affixed to create natural lift. Known as the mini face lift, this treatment is a quarter of the cost of a traditional face lift and with fantastic results.

We also perform PDO threads, which are floating threads and not anchored like traditional threadlift, find out more information on PDO threads here.

The Results

You can expect to see immediate results from a thread lift, however best results are seen at approximately 3 months post treatment.  With your mini face lift, we recommend also having a consultation to discuss your options and how to incorporate other treatments for maximum results.

How much does a thread lift cost?

We have a range of different options available which our Doctor will talk you through:

  • 4 threads (2 per side) $2500
  • 8 threads (4 per side) $4000
  • 12 threads (6 per side) $5000

FAQs

.

A thread lift is a non-surgical procedure where long threads are placed sub-dermally and anchored at various points and tightened causing a physical lifting of the skin & tissue.  PDO threads are ‘floating’ threads. They are not anchored and placed much more superficially to stimulate the body’s own collagen & elastin. They are placed in a manner that helps rebuild the structure of the underlying tissue resulting in a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, they can provide some lift but it is generally minimal in relation to a traditional thread lift.

The effects of a thread lift typically last 2+ years. The threads are made of Poly-L-Lactic acid which is a biostimulator that stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin.
