Epiblading: experience smooth, soft, glowing skin.

Epiblading is also known as dermaplaning or epidermal leveling.

What is Epiblading?

Epiblading is often thought of just shaving your face, but when done correctly, it is actually meant as an exfoliation treatment.  Epiblading removes dead skin, debris & fine velus hairs.

No, this is a very common misconception.  Shaving hair can not change it’s colour or thickness, only hormones can do this. When the hair grows back, hairs other than fine velus hairs may feel blunt which makes them feel thicker, but they aren’t.

No, there’s no pain with Epiblading, you will feel a gentle pressure

Dermaplaning treatment should not be performed if you have active acne, skin conditions such as eczema, skin lesions or if you’ve had filler treatment in the last 4 weeks.

The Skinjex products used during your epiblading treatment can be purchased in store and online. Speak to our Dermal Therapists about which products would suit you best.

You should schedule your Epiblading treatments every 4-6 weeks for best results.  Otherwise once off treatments of Epiblading before events are fine as well.
