Rejuran injections are a type of skin rejuvenation treatment that uses polynucleotides (PN) derived from salmon DNA to promote skin repair, regeneration, and healing. These injections are often referred to as Rejuran Healer and are delivered via microinjections into the dermis layer of the skin.
The polynucleotides in Rejuran stimulate the skin’s fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining skin structure, elasticity, and hydration. No, there is no requirement for you to have a GP referral. When you come for an appointment you will have a consultation with one of our Doctors which is included in your pricing.
It is recommended to have a Rejuran treatment every 6 months after your initial course of treatments. As Rejuran gradually boosts collagen production and supports skin regeneration, the benefits become increasingly noticeable. This results in significant, long-lasting enhancements in skin smoothness, moisture retention, and firmness. After treatment, clients can enjoy a more vibrant, youthful glow that persists for several months
We schedule appointments for half an hour, this gives us enough time for a thorough consultation, time for you to ask questions, and treatment.
Rejuran treament is less common for bruising, although it can definitely happen. If you bruise easily you could bruise with treatment, there are also a few things that can make you more likely to bruise, if possible for up to 2 weeks prior to your appointment cease consumption of green tea and alcohol. When you book your appointment you will be sent a list of before care information.
Every person is different but most swelling is gone within 1-2 days of treatment.
It is recommended to avoid strenuous activity until the skin returns to normal.
There’s a few things you can’t do after Rejuran treatment – No make up for 24hours. Avoid any exfoliation on the treated area for 7 days. Avoid excessive alcohol for a week and lifestyle that would contribute to stress. Avoid saunas, spas, and strenuous exercise to prevent further inflammation until the skin returns to normal.
Everyone’s pain threshold and tolerance are different. But we use techniques and products to make your treatment as comfortable as possible.
