This treatment uses a series of micro-needles to create tiny punctures in the skin, which in turn activates the body into producing NEW collagen and elastin, infused with a Hylauronic Acid and Vitamin B serum, this treatment is great for saying good-bye to fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, and pigmentation to name a few!
Results from Skin Needling can take time, most people will see an improvement after just one session, however collagen and elastin will continue to remodel for a whopping 12 months after a dermapen treatment! Depending on what condition/s you’re trying to target will determine how many sessions are recommended. If you’re not looking to target anything in particular and just want to maintain a healthy glow, then treatments are recommended every 3 months.
A numbing cream is applied so your treatment is as comfortable as possible
This treatment is not recommend for people on blood thinning medications or those who are pregnant.
Our Dermal Therapist will be able to assess your skin and determine whether you are suitable for Skin Needling, however, unless contraindicated, this treatment is great for everyone.
The Skinjex products used during treatment can be purchased in store and online. Speak to our Dermal Therapist about which products would suit you best.
It is not recommended you have skin needling fewer than 6 weeks apart. Any sooner than this and you risk damaging the collagen remodelling process.
