If you’ve ever wondered exactly what cosmetic lasers are and what they can treat, keep reading. We’re going to do a bit of a deep dive into the multiple lasers at Injex Clinics, and exactly what they can treat.
Our Lasers
We use 2 cosmetic lasers, a 755nm Alexandrite and a Q-Swithed, Nd:Yag which has a dual wave length of 532nm and 1064nm. So what that means essentially is it’s like having 2 lasers in one, which in turn means we can treat more conditions.
Laser hair removal Brisbane

What you need to know:
You’ll need a minimum of 10 sessions, some will need more depending on how stubborn your hair is.
Treatments are best scheduled 6-10 weeks apart depending on what area you’re treating. Hormonal areas such as Brazillian and underarms we recommend every 6 weeks as these areas grow a bit faster. The extremities, such as arms and legs grow a little slower, so you can push these out to 10 weeks.

Laser tattoo removal Brisbane
It’s estimated that 80% of people regret a tattoo! That is HUGE! So it’s lucky we’ve got a laser that can target almost all colours except white (no laser can do white) yellow and green.
What you need to know:
It’s not exactly a comfortable treatment, however as you go along, it does get more comfortable. For laser tattoo removal we recommend sessions every 6 weeks. It’s almost impossible to determine how many sessions you’ll need as every tattooist uses different ink, tattoo’s at different depths, colour is also a factor, how long you’ve had the tattoo, and even how close it is to your heart (the closer it is, the quicker it will go). We also use a medical grade numbing cream to make treatment as comfortable as possible.

Laser pigmentation removal treatment
Pigmentation comes in many forms; freckles, melasma, sun spots, acne scarring, which is why we love having 2 lasers. These different pigments are targeted best with different lasers and wave lengths.
What you need to know:
For freckles, we use the 755nm and can usually get good clearance in just 1 session. For melasma we use the 1064 on a long pulse mode and this is usually a minimum of 6 treatments. Carbon laser facial
Carbon laser facial, or as they’re also known, China Doll Facials, use a carbon cream that’s put onto the skin to attract the laser to the black pigment.
What you need to know:
Carbon laser facial’s are a very comfortable treatment. They are however, very loud! As the laser hits the carbon it is instantly evaporated along with dead skin! Because it is evaporated so quickly it makes a big pop sound! Carbons are a great option for those who have active acne, acne scarring, want to reduce pore size, plump up their skin a bit, treat uneven skin tone, and fine lines.
