Non-Surgical Facial Volume Brisbane

Facial volume treatments may help restore areas of lost volume and support natural facial contours, contributing to a refreshed appearance.

Facial contouring is a versatile treatment used in several different areas. Not limited to, but some of the most common treatment areas are:

What Is A Facial Volume Treatment?

This treatment uses a substance that occurs naturally in the body, which helps attract and retain water. When used in facial procedures, it may assist in restoring volume and supporting contour.

How Does Facial Contouring Work?

As part of the natural ageing process, collagen and elastin production gradually decrease, which may contribute to volume loss and changes in skin texture. Facial volume treatments may help restore areas of lost fullness, support skin structure and soften the appearance of lines.

When do results from this treatment typically become noticeable?

Some clients begin to notice changes within the first few days after treatment. The full effect usually becomes more visible over the following one to two weeks as the product settles. It’s important to keep in mind that treatment responses vary from person to person.

Facial Contouring Brisbane At Injex Clinics

.

At Injex Clinics, we offer facial volume treatments that may help restore or add volume to certain areas of the face. These treatments are designed to support natural contours and may contribute to a refreshed appearance.

It’s important to note that facial volume treatments differ from wrinkle reduction treatments. Wrinkle reduction treatments work by temporarily relaxing specific muscles, which may soften the appearance of lines caused by repeated movements, such as those on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes.

FAQs

.

No, there is no requirement for you to have a GP referral,. When you come for an appointment you will have a consultation with one of our Doctors.

We provide a range of facial volume treatments that may be tailored to different areas of the face. The type of treatment used and its duration can vary, with some effects lasting around 6 to 12 months and others potentially extending 2 to 5 years. How long results remain visible depends on several factors, including the treatment chosen, the treatment area and individual considerations such as metabolism and lifestyle.

For more information, please feel free to contact us with your enquiries.

The length of your appointment will depend on the type of facial volume treatment and the areas being addressed. In most cases, the procedure itself is 30 minutes, though additional time is required for your initial consultation, assessment and aftercare discussion. Your practitioner will give you a clearer idea of how long to allow when booking.

Bruising is a possible side effect of facial volume and wrinkle reduction treatments, with some people being more prone than others. Statistically, around 1 in 20 individuals may experience bruising. Factors such as lifestyle habits can also increase the likelihood. To help minimise this risk, it may be advisable to avoid alcohol and green tea for up to two weeks prior to your appointment, if possible.

We recommend having any treatment at least 4 weeks before an event. This gives enough time for any potential bruising or swelling to subside and for any adjustments to be made.

The bulk of the swelling with subside within 24-48 hours and the site will completely settle within 2 weeks. After treatment it is recommended you ice the area, there are also some other things you can do to minimise swelling which you can talk about with your Doctor or Nurse on the day.

You may exercise after facial volume treatments; however, it is generally not recommended immediately afterwards, as physical activity can increase blood flow and make swelling more noticeable. This does not typically affect the treatment outcome.

It is recommended to avoid exercise and alcohol for at least 24 hours after facial volume treatments, as these may increase swelling or bruising. Your practitioner will go over all aftercare with you at your appointment and this will also be sent to you.

We recommend waiting at least 24-48 hours if you can for short distance flights and two weeks for long distance flights (further than New Zealand).

Everyone’s pain threshold is different, and some people may experience more discomfort than others. At Injex Clinics, our practitioners aim to make treatments as comfortable as possible. A numbing cream can be applied before the procedure, and our team regularly undertakes training to stay current with techniques.

No, the numbing cream and facial volume treatment contain an agent that can not be used while pregnant or breastfeeding, so unfortunately, we will not perform this treatment on you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
