Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

A non-surgical rhinoplasty temporarily changes the shape of the nose to correct aesthetic concerns like bumps, hollows and asymmetry. With subtle refinements, this treatment helps create a more balanced facial profile.

How non-surgical rhinoplasty helps refine your profile

This treatment is designed to help fill in irregularities, smooth out uneven areas and improve contouring for a more structured facial profile. It can help address the following:

  • Bumps and dents
  • Dorsal humps
  • Crookedness
  • Drooping tip
  • Upturned nose
  • Wide or pinched nose tip
  • Flat or scooped nasal bridge

However, results from this treatment can vary between individuals, as factors like facial anatomy, metabolism, treatment type and lifestyle may affect the outcome.

How we determine if no-surgery rhinoplasty is right for you

Before proceeding with non-surgical facial volume treatments, you’ll have to undergo a mandatory skin and health assessment. Our team will examine your facial anatomy, skin type and medical history, including any medications you’re taking.

We’ll also consider your psychological readiness to ensure you have a clear and realistic understanding of the process, potential risks and possible outcomes — we’re committed to setting transparent and achievable expectations for this treatment. This is also the time to ask questions and explore whether this option aligns with your needs.

Some individuals may not be suitable for this treatment. If any of the following applies to you, we will recommend alternative options:

  • Currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Diagnosed with epilepsy, cancer, porphyria, enzyme disorders or autoimmune diseases
  • Prone to keloid scarring
  • Have allergies to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or latex

Risks and side effects

Non-surgical rhinoplasty can involve potential risks and side effects, with their severity and duration varying for each individual.

  • Common side effects include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness or an itching sensation around the treated area. These typically subside within a few days.
  • Occasionally, small bumps or pimples may appear but tend to resolve on their own.
  • In rare cases, some individuals may experience temporary discolouration, increased sensitivity or numbness and tingling that can last up to 12 weeks.
  • More serious complications have been reported such as painful swollen lumps, small tissue growths or blood vessel blockages that may impact the surrounding skin.

Everyone’s skin reacts differently, so monitor any changes, especially in the first few hours and days after treatment. If you experience inflammation or severe reactions lasting more than 48 hours, contact us and your general practitioner for medical advice.

Preparation and recovery

Following these pre- and post-treatment care tips can help support a smooth and timely recovery.

Before your treatment

  • Arrange your appointment at least two weeks before major events to allow for proper healing.

  • Keep your face clean and makeup-free before the treatment.

After your treatment

  • Do not use any makeup for the rest of the day following your session.
  • In case of swelling, apply a cold compress for 15 minutes every hour.
  • Don’t touch or apply pressure on the treated area for three days.

FAQs

.

This cosmetic treatment addresses certain nose-related concerns like bumps and crookedness without the need for more invasive procedures. It’s performed in-clinic, with more visible results developing in the following weeks after treatment.

This treatment adds volume to specific areas of the nose to address facial asymmetry. During your initial consultation, our practitioners will explain the process. Should you be deemed eligible for the treatment, we will customise a treatment plan to match your desired changes.

Pain tolerance varies from person to person, which means it’s possible that you may experience temporary discomfort in the treated area. At Injex Clinics, we take every step to ensure a safe, precise and comfortable process — our skilled practitioners use advanced techniques and apply medical-grade numbing cream to reduce potential discomfort.

The longevity of results depends on several factors such as age, skin type, metabolism and lifestyle. On average, effects last between six to 12 months, but in some cases, they can extend up to two to five years.

Take note that no-surgery rhinoplasty has its limitations. For instance, it cannot remove any portion of the nose or reduce its size. Additionally, follow-up appointments may be required to maintain results, as effects may gradually fade over time.
