Jawline Sculpting

At Injex Clinics, we provide consultations for non-surgical jawline sculpting treatments, which may help enhance volume and definition in the lower face. For some people, this treatment can contribute to the appearance of improved balance or reduce the look of asymmetry.

As with all cosmetic procedures, outcomes vary and are not suitable for everyone. A comprehensive consultation with a qualified practitioner is required to review your medical history, assess your goals, and determine whether jawline sculpting may be appropriate for you.

What happens during your first consultation

During the initial consultation, our practitioners will assess whether you’re a suitable candidate for jawline sculpting. They will:

  • Check your skin type, facial anatomy and medical history, including an assessment of any medications you’re currently taking.
  • Consider your personal expectations and emotional preparedness for the entire process to gauge whether the treatment is the right fit for you.
  • Discuss your desired outcomes and develop an individualised treatment plan that aligns with your expectations.
  • Explain the treatment in detail, including downtime, recovery and any potential risks or side effects.
  • Answer any questions and address concerns to ensure you feel informed and confident moving forward.

This treatment is not suitable for those who are:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Diagnosed with epilepsy, cancer, porphyria or enzyme disorders
  • Have autoimmune disorders
  • Prone to develop keloid scarring
  • Allergic to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or latex

Should this treatment not be the most appropriate choice for you, we will provide recommendations for alternative options. FAQs

.

Jawline sculpting treatments focus on the lower face and may help enhance jawline structure for some people. This can include supporting areas affected by changes such as reduced volume, under-chin fullness, or sagging in the jowl area.

A thorough consultation with a qualified practitioner is always required. During this appointment, your health profile, facial structure, and expectations will be carefully reviewed to determine whether treatment may be suitable for you.

With age, the skin’s production of collagen and elastin naturally decreases.

This may contribute to changes in the lower face such as reduced firmness, loss of volume, or the appearance of jowls.

Jawline sculpting treatments use dermal volumisation techniques that may help restore or add volume in targeted areas of the jawline. For some people, this can give the appearance of improved definition or balance in the lower face. Outcomes vary between individuals and will be discussed during your consultation.

If you are found to be suitable for treatment, jawline sculpting may help enhance the appearance of the lower face without surgery. Possible outcomes can include:

  • Supporting areas where jawline volume or structure has been reduced with age

  • Reducing the look of fullness beneath the chin

  • Adding definition to jawline contours

  • Creating the appearance of a broader or more angular profile

  • Softening the look of the jawline for a slimmer or more tapered appearance

Every individual’s results vary, and suitability will always be confirmed during a comprehensive consultation.

Jawline sculpting may help some people with a fuller face by enhancing definition in the lower face. This can sometimes reduce the appearance of jowls and create the impression of a more structured jawline. In some cases, this may also make the face look slimmer.

As outcomes vary between individuals, your consultation will explore whether this treatment is suitable for your facial structure and goals.

Jawline sculpting is not permanent. For many people, results may last around 6 to 12 months, while others may notice changes for a shorter or longer period. Duration is influenced by factors such as age, skin type, metabolism, and lifestyle.

This treatment focuses on enhancing your existing features while respecting the unique qualities of your face. It’s important to note that no cosmetic treatment can guarantee perfect symmetry. During your consultation, our practitioners will discuss what outcomes may be realistic for you.

Here’s what to do before the treatment:

  • Discontinue the use of blood-thinning medications and supplements, such as aspirin, fish oil or vitamin E, at least two weeks in advance to help minimise the risk of bruising.
  • Refrain from consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
  • Book your treatment at least two weeks ahead of flying or any significant events to allow adequate time for recovery.

Here’s what to prepare on the day of your appointment:

  • Arrive a bit earlier to complete any required paperwork and allow time for the application of numbing cream before your session.
  • Ensure your skin is clean and free from makeup or active skincare products before the treatment.

After the treatment, we’ll advise you to:

  • Not touch or apply pressure on the treated area for at least three days.
  • Avoid touching, picking or scratching the treatment site.
  • Not apply makeup for the rest of the day following your treatment.
  • Skip cosmeceutical skincare products with active ingredients such as retinol, AHAs or vitamin C for at least a week.
  • Protect the treated area by avoiding sun exposure, UV light, extreme cold or hot saunas for up to two weeks.
  • Limit intense physical activities or strenuous exercise that results in sweating for 24 hours.
  • Gently apply a cold compress for short intervals, about 15 minutes at a time, to help reduce swelling if needed.
