IPL can be used to treat a multitude of skin concerns
IPL is a non-invasive treatment technique for hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments, including skin clearing, redness reduction and skin tone correction.
WHAT IS IPL?
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light, it is a non-invasive light based technology to target skin conditions such as acne, hair, pigmentation, vascular conditions (red veins & rosacea) and rejuvenation to name a few.
Depending on the condition and severity, skin conditions can dramatically improved in as little as one treatment.
Treatments starting from just $249 per session, need a package? Packs start at just $99 per session
Do I need to do anything before my treatment?
Yes, you will need to come in for a mandatory consultation and patch test. Different factors can effect results, and we want to make sure your treatment is tailored to you, and your skin type and needs.
Does IPL hurt?
Depending on what type of treatment is being performed will determine how comfortable the treatment is. The treatment shouldn’t hurt, but may feel like a hot rubber band snap.

What can be treated with IPL?
IPL can be used to target a number of skin concerns, however, we only use this device for the following as we have other devices which work better for other conditions:
- SHR (Super Hair Removal) – Although we have a laser machine, SHR is great for those who are wanting large areas done such as full legs or back. The treatment is much faster than laser and just as effective. SHR is also great for those who do not tolerate pain well as this treatment is pain free and you will just feel a warm heating of the skin.
- Vascular & Rosacea – Vascular conditions such as red veins can be treated quickly with IPL, flushing from Rosacea can also be managed and reduced.
- Acne Management – Active acne can be quite hard to treat. Often having active acne rules a lot of treatments out, which is why IPL is a great choice. The IPL helps kill bacteria in the skin causing lesions to heal, it also has a healing effect on the overall skin, so will reduce acne scarring as well.
- Rejuvenation – There’s nothing quite like IPL for rejuvenation. With minimal downtime, this treatment is fantastic for anyone who wants full face rejuventation without the price tag of expensive laser treatments and the downtime associated with them.
