Before your bio-stimulator appointment please:
- Arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete consultation form and for numbing cream to be applied
- Arrive with a clean face with no foundation, sunscreen, moisturiser (if possible) as this helps to minimise the risk of infection
- Avoid any anti-inflammatory, blood thinning medications or supplements two weeks prior to
treatment (if possible) as this helps to minimise the risk of bruising. These include asprin, fish oil,
vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, st. John’s Wort, ginseng, Ibuprofen, advil, and other NSAIDS. - Avoid the consumption of alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment
- Do not wax, bleach, use depilatory creams (Nair), or have electrolysis for 4 weeks.
- Avoid any chemical peels, facials, laser, and microdermabrasion for 2 weeks prior to treatment of the same area.
- Ensure your appointment is a minimum of 2 weeks prior to any special event to allow bruising and
treatment to settle. - Please be aware that we are unable to treat if you have a history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scaring
- Avoid unprotected natural and artificial sun exposure of the area to be treated for 2 weeks for best results. A broad-spectrum sunscreen (UVA and UVB) with SPF of 30 or greater is recommended.
- Please be aware that we are unable to treat if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
- Aggressive/abusive will not be tolerated.
- Cancellation fee will occur for any cancellations under 24 hours
- Failure to respond to reminder messages may result in your appointment being forefeit.
